Pros and cons of TimeRecorder app for iPhone and iPad
TimeRecorder app good for
I am quite pleased with this app. It records my time in the background while I work and lets me edit and update the time logged if I have forgotten anything. I used the lite version until today but upgraded in order to have the ability to create extra user defined categories or "projects" like: travel, vacation time, my weekends (which dont fall on normal weekends), and other projects.
I work in ministry and never used to feel like I worked enough because I was always interrupted with different matters, and I felt like I was spinning my wheels. With this app I actually found I worked 86 hours last week! Logging off at the end of the day or week and seeing how many hours Ive worked really helps me take a break when I should and not feel guilty. I highly recommend this app. It has definitely helped give my life some balance.
As a side, my wife is very thankful because now I know I have worked a full work load and can spend more time with her without feeling like I need to do more work.
Thanks for the great app.
Works well but has a bug. Deleting a project crashes the app and doesnt delete it. Instead just rename it to a new project. Otherwise works well.
The app is great. Gives you a breakdown of days and keeps a running total for the week. Editing time is easy. Would have gotten 5 stars but you cant delete a project.
Some bad moments
This application sounded great, but lacks a lot. For 2.99, I feel ripped off. Simple problems: you cannot easily change the start or stop time of an event from the first page. You have to go the calendar and edit the event separately. I havent figured out how to delete an event. Basically after the above 2 problems I gave up on the app. The reports sound nice, but with simple things lacking Im not going to use this app. I just lost $2.99!
